Being an entry level cask owner, I bought a new make Ardmore cask and I had successfully resell the cask in a few months time and made 13% profit. In the begining whisky cask is only my interest and now this become an investment. Once again this proof we can enjoy interest and investment at the same time! A perfect why not both!

With recommendation from Agnes, I acquired a Craigallachie 2020 bourbon cask in Q4 2023 anticipating a 15% growth in value within 12 months. A bit eager to test my sight and view, I checked with Agnes in May this year to see the growth level and Agnes told me that there were other buyers willing to take over my cask at 10% premium. Twisting my mind over few seconds, I said yes and Agnes proceed talking to the other side. Within few weeks, my cask was successfully traded with 10% premium over my initial purchasing price. Though 10% on the book, considering 9 months holding period, the profit was actually 15% an annualised percentage. Many thanks to Agnes and her company for their professional advices and services. I am still holding other casks looking forward to a higher return next year.
